We are seeking a customer-oriented, highly motivated, and positive individual for the position of
Outside Sales Representative
to cultivate and maintain relationships and drive growth in our established territory covering North Carolina, South Carolina, and East Tennessee. Responsibilities: Develop and cultivate customer relationships Create and pursue customer leads Create a sales plan and target customers accordingly Identify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell Make cold calls to prospective customers Follow sales leads and schedule appointments with prospective customers Follow up with customers and provide solutions when issues or concerns come up Provide training to customers and their teams on various product lines Direct the creation of quotes for customers Solicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide to management for appropriate follow-up and action Gather competitive market and pricing information Problem solves with our customers on application issues, if needed Qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree (business, sales, or related field) or equivalent education or experience Steel or construction industry experience Proven experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Time-management and organization skills Team-oriented and positive attitude Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and own reliable vehicle Microsoft Office and CRM systems At MBA, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and your desire to excel is matched by our commitment to your success.
