Arrive at the restaurant on-time according to the posted schedule (PM or AM shifts) and assemble necessary items for the workstation Follow the mise-en-place sheet to chop, cook, and prepare ingredients according to Bludorn’s standards and recipes Assist in cooking staff meals on a rotating basis Receive and organize orders to various parts of the kitchen Attend and contribute to a daily cooks’ meeting Clean the kitchen and maintain an organized station Prepare the workstation for service with properly labeled ingredients Set up the oyster bar with ice/oysters as needed During service, cook, chop, prepare, and plate dishes from the assigned station following chef instructions Write a daily prep list for the following shift and present to the Chef for approval Store ingredients according to safety standards with proper labeling Assist in daily/nightly cleaning of the kitchen and walk-in fridges Adapt to the needs of the kitchen team, including working different cooking stations as needed Requirements

Passionate about food and cooking in a professional kitchen Knowledge of cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting, etc.), safe knife usage, and proper cooling/storing methods Understand portioning and measurements in metric and imperial systems Eager to learn, develop culinary skills, and be coached by peers Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Punctual, organized, and have a can-do attitude Cool under pressure and able to meet deadlines Clear and professional communication with colleagues and guests Wear a mask and follow safety protocols as required About Bludorn
