Overview Primary responsibility is to shuttle guests and team members while prioritizing the safety of passengers and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Obey all traffic rules and regulations.
Inspect van on a daily basis.
Inspect van weekly for tire wear and all mechanical fluid levels.
Ability to use handheld radio effectively and maintain communication at all times.
Assist guests at loading and unloading zones.
Provide shuttle service for employees.
Greet each guest in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer general questions and provide information regarding the Resort.
Respond to guests’ requests in a swift, efficient and appropriate manner.
Sitting in a vehicle for long periods of time; working long hours as needed or necessary; getting in and out of vehicle often during the shift.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
The ability to skillfully drive all vehicle speed shifts for vans, limousines and automobiles is required.
The ability to communicate effectively and graciously in English is essential.
This position requires full mobility, lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling a luggage cart up to 200 pounds.
Experience in the hotel and/or hospitality industry is a plus.
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Position requires a high level of customer service.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Vehicle knowledge and insurance claims experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Physical demands may include running, climbing stairs, twisting and bending, and working in inclement weather and extreme heat or cold; lifting up to approximately 40 lbs.
