Job Title
Precision Frame Welder – 2nd Shift Job Purpose
A welder read and understand assembly instructions, ensure material is available, take precise measurements for component alignment, cut and shape metal, and join metal parts using cutting tools and welders. Key Responsibilities
Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to create equipment and products. Perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding, including precision sheet metal welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and steel. Use handheld tools such as a screwdriver, drill gun, and grinders. Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools. Maintain welding machines using preventative maintenance methods. Evaluate welding machine performance and technology to improve cycle times. Maintain inventory of manufacturing products and welding consumables. Create weldment set‑ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements. Perform quality work checks to ensure product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and document them. Rework and repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 4 years of precision welding experience in precision frame manufacturing. Ability to maintain tight tolerance of +/-0.03 thousandths. Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting documents including safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and SOPs. Must be proficient with measuring tools and validate own work to print specifications. ASME Section 9 certification beneficial. AWS certifications beneficial (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6). Must be able to set up and maintain all welding machines and tools. Additional Requirements
Applicant must pass a practical welding assessment. This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. Equal Opportunity Employer

Salary Range (annual): $54,080 – $60,320 ($26.00 – $29.00). Actual base pay within this range will be based on candidate experience, education, certifications, and skills.
