Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management. Supervise the outlet floor, including employees and guests, during outlet operation. Supervise the maintenance of outlet dining room for cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance. Communicate daily pre-meal meeting with service staff daily. Monitor each guest experience to include timing, food quality and presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction and comments regarding overall outlet experience. Ensure follow up for any guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist outlet managers with monitoring food and liquor requisitions and food waste, placing orders when needed. Floor presence during peak hours to include inspecting tabletops, side-stations and tray stands to ensure Omni standards. Assist outlet managers with scheduling/payroll, budgeting, forecasting, beverage and food costs and month end inventory, as needed. Participate in outlet recruitment processes and training of newly hired employees, as needed. Ensure all equipment is in good condition and clean, prepare maintenance requests and follow-up. Monitor bar controls, jigger use, and responsible alcohol service daily. Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws. Must know emergency procedures and work to prevent accidents. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate is required to have at least 2 years management experience in food and beverage restaurant operation, preferably in a hotel and/or fine dining restaurant, or completion of the Omni Food and Beverage LID Program. Proven leadership skills with ability to train, develop, and motivate staff. Ability to teach employees the importance of interacting with internal/external guests and courteously solve internal requests. Experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll, service recovery and associate relations matters. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with necessary software and programs. Ability to work well under pressure, managing a high volume of orders and guest requests. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and provide guest follow up in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS: Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion. May work both indoors and outdoors.
