Overview
The MD Anderson Cancer Center Department of Urology seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible candidates for a full-time Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment position based at the MD Anderson Woodlands campus. Surgical procedures could be performed at the Woodlands (future buildout), Main Campus, or Northwest Surgery Center. This role focuses on the full range of urologic oncology during both treatment and survivorship. A focus on robotic prostatectomy is anticipated at the Northwest Surgery Center, with access to complex procedures at the Texas Medical Center. The candidate should have completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology and be committed to delivering state-of-the-art Urologic Oncology care and excellent educational services to fellows, residents, and students. The position offers an attractive recruitment package and access to a robust scientific environment within the Texas Medical Center, with mentorship/onboarding from Texas Medical Center faculty. Work Location: Onsite This position has a target base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable. Provide clinical urologic oncology care across treatment and survivorship phases. Perform and supervise surgical procedures, with emphasis on robotic prostatectomy at the Northwest Surgery Center and complex cases at the Texas Medical Center. Deliver education and mentorship to fellows, residents, and medical students. Participate in academic activities, and contribute to the graduate and postdoctoral training programs. Engage in clinical service at the onsite Woodlands campus and other assigned facilities. Qualifications
Fellowship in Urologic Oncology from an SUO-approved program. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology; timely progression toward certification if applicable. Licensed to Practice Medicine in the State of Texas. Current CPR/BCLS or ACLS certification as applicable. Experience
