A contract opportunity for a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) is available within a K-12 educational setting in League City, TX. This position is designed for professionals with expertise in school psychology, providing vital support to students across all grade levels during the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement intervention strategies based on assessment results. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations. Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications
Valid LSSP certification or license. Experience working within K-12 school environments. Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and best practices in school psychology. Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with federal and state education laws related to special education.
