I also served as an Outside Operations Lead as well as an Assistant Professional in my last 2 years there. Scott Leritz understood that I wanted to grow as a professional and gave me several opportunities to do so in my time there. He was very fair and listened to me not only as an employee, but more importantly as a person." "I am now the Head Professional at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. My time and experience at Royal Oaks definitely helped prepare me for my current role. The opportunity to grow as a PGA Professional at Royal Oaks is definitely there for those who want it." Sean Stewart, PGA "I firmly believe Royal Oaks is one of the premier facilities in the Pacific Northwest. The membership is skilled, active in their club, and enjoyable to work for. The facilities at the club provide a comfortable and more than suitable work environment and the golf course itself is second to none. The leadership of Royal Oaks is dedicated to the club and consistently challenges the staff to be the best they can be at all times. I was provided opportunities to be involved in all phases of the golf operation and became a much better golf professional over time than when I first arrived. This experience and the support of the staff of Royal Oaks and their members helped me on a career path in the golf industry that I intend to be in for the foreseeable future." Eric Sjogren, PGA Assistant Director of Championships & Golf Operations Pacific Northwest Golf Association "Working at Royal Oaks was an honor and a privilege. You are treated like family by the membership and management. My time there made me a better golf professional and propelled me to the position I longed for."
