is looking for a

motivated Staff Accountant

to join our high-energy team. In this key role, you’ll be more than a “numbers person” — you’ll be a vital contributor to the accuracy, stability, and growth of our dealership’s financial operations. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll take ownership of

financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting the overall health of our accounting department , while partnering across departments to ensure excellence company-wide. Key Responsibilities Include: Maintain accurate general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness. Reconcile inventory accounts for RVs, boats, trailers, and parts. Track and report manufacturer incentives, warranty claims, and floor plan interest. Collaborate with sales, service, and parts teams to resolve financial discrepancies, owning every moment to support smooth operations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare internal financial reports with integrity and attention to detail. Support audits and ensure compliance with dealership, state, and federal regulations. Identify areas for process improvement, being driven to create efficiencies and cost savings. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 1+ year of accounting experience, preferably in automotive, RV, or marine dealership settings. Strong knowledge of GAAP and best practices in accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude. Integrity, accountability, and a drive to succeed are a must. Preferred Experience: Dealership accounting experience (inventory control, floor plan management, service/parts accounting). Familiarity with dealership systems like IDS, CDK, Lightspeed, or Reynolds & Reynolds.
