We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our privately-owned group of four marine sales and service stores. The position location is Counce, TN. Our fast-growing organization, with approximately 55 employees and annual gross revenues between $30 million and $50 million, requires an experienced, hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
This is not a supervisory role—we are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the work, not just overseeing others. The ideal candidate will bring depth of experience in dealership accounting and back-office financial management, with the ability to consolidate reporting for a corporate-level overview.

Key Responsibilities
Full-cycle accounting across multiple store locations, consolidating into a single corporate entity Cash management and reconciliation of all bank accounts Floor plan management and reconciliation Payroll, commissions, HR administration, insurance, 401(k), and employee benefits coordination, all Insurances State quarterly tax payments and sales tax reporting and filings Internal financial reporting and monthly bank reconciliations Audit preparation and support, and inventory reconciliations Manufacturer, rebates/holdbacks, and warranty receivables management and recovery payments Accounts payable and general ledger maintenance for all stores Qualifications
Preferred: CPA with at least 5 years of experience in marine, RV, or automotive dealership accounting (Lightspeed experience a plus) Proven ability to manage complex, multi-location financials in companies with $30M+ in annual revenue Experience with dealership floor plans, warranty programs, and tax reporting Strong knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, and insurance processes Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
