Century Group Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Review lease agreements and ensure rent payments are made accurately and on time for multiple locations. Perform tenant and landlord account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Analyze and approve common area maintenance bills for payment processing. Communicate proactively with landlords to resolve discrepancies or issues related to rent payments. Maintain records of security deposits and ensure proper tracking and compliance.
Requirements
A strong understanding of lease terms and rent payment processes. Prior experience with account reconciliations and vendor correspondence. Ability to manage multiple property accounts with attention to detail. Familiarity with reviewing and processing CAM charges. Excellent communication skills for resolving payment-related issues.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience with property management systems and intermediate Excel skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with real estate and finance teams.
