The Senior Accountant

is responsible for managing full charge accounting for the company, including the company’s day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards, and providing timely, accurate financial information to leadership. This position will lead the accounting team, oversee internal controls, and support company operations through detailed financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and develop the accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily work. Manage the accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable departments. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and construction-specific reporting. Monitor cash flow, reconciliation, and banking activities. Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Work with the executive team to guide the organization’s financial decisions. Hiring, training and retaining accounting staff. Qualifications

Sage 300CRE experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 5+ years of experience Physical Requirements

Mobility:

Ability to move within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Manual Dexterity:

Frequent use of hands to operate a computer and other office equipment. Visual Acuity:

Ability to view computer screens for extended periods and read detailed documents. Sitting:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Lifting:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, such as boxes of documents or office supplies.
