Overview Presbyterian is seeking a Regulatory Quality RN Clinical Care-Intermediate to investigate complaints alleging inappropriate physical health clinical care or behavior by a physician or other healthcare practitioner. The RN applies her/his knowledge to determine whether the standard of care was met, documents findings, and collaborates with various partner teams.

Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; five years of hospital nursing experience; current NM RN license; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong written communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Nursing

Five years hospital nursing experience

Current NM RN License

Skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Proficiency in writing or professional correspondence

Preferred

Critical Care experience

Complaint Management experience

Quality Improvement experience

Care Coordination / Case Management experience

Responsibilities

Review, respond to, and research complaints related to quality of medical care, ensuring all quality of care issues are identified.

Provide referrals to relevant PHP entities (Legal, Risk Management, Behavioral Health, Credentialing, Critical Incidents, Care Coordination).

Perform Physical Health QOCC Case Management, conduct Practice Pattern Reviews, manage PIPs, conduct Medical Record Reviews.

Prepare and present Medical Director Reviews and QOCC case summaries to the Physical Health PPEC.

Communicate PH PPEC recommendations and manage related recommendations for performance improvement or provider status changes.

Other duties as assigned.
