Immigration Attorney (Bilingual - Spanish) We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate the complexities of the immigration system. This position is well-suited for someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish and has a deep understanding of immigration law. This role requires at least five years of experience in the field. This role will be hybrid, with some face time in the Austin office required, but will mostly be remote. This Jobot Job is hosted by Jeana Patel. This role offers a base pay range and is presented with the understanding that actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding immigration matters, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, naturalization, removal defense, and deferred action. Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including master calendar and individual hearings. Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, appeals, and applications for relief. Conduct client consultations to assess eligibility for immigration benefits and discuss potential legal strategies. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing concerns. Engage in policy advocacy on immigration issues, including liaising with government officials and participating in public speaking engagements. Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop and implement best practices for providing high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to a state bar, with good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law. Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and a passion for advocacy. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. High degree of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality requirements. Experience with immigration case management software is a plus.
