Instrumentation, Automation, Controls Technician

responsible for the overall upkeep, troubleshooting, preventative care, and repair of mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will exhibit a sound knowledge of Motor controls, VFD’s, instrumentation, PLCs, and Graphical Terminal Interfaces. Key Responsibilities And Job Duties Responsible for maintaining Motor controls, VFD’s, instrumentation, PLCs, and Graphical Terminal Interfaces. Lead maintenance activities for assigned shift, including assigning, re-assigning, and directing preventative maintenance activities. Perform installation and troubleshooting of Motor controls, VFD’s, instrumentation, and graphical terminal interfaces. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment and/or batching/processing equipment. Act as a resource for mechanics in identifying and correcting potential equipment problems and troubleshooting and maintaining production lines and/or batching/processing equipment. Properly perform all necessary maintenance tasks to production lines (i.e., rebuilds, welding, valve, pipe, and solenoid selection, etc.). Maintain accurate records and logs as required. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment, including immediately correcting or reporting safety issues to your supervisor. Perform quality checks and accurate quality documentation as required. Actively assist with planning/scheduling and storeroom staff for tracking work orders, parts, and purchase requisitions. Identify and assist in the implementation of projects as required. Education And Additional Requirements Technical School or position-related training Minimum 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience Minimum 5 years of equipment reliability experience Hydraulics, controls, electrical, mechanical, welding, electrical, PLC’s, and pneumatics experience Own and supply own tools per the Maintenance required tool list Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of data network, switches, routers, and servers Must be able to work flexible shift schedules up to 12-hour shifts as determined by business need Must be able to use a computer and associated software programs Experience with SCADA, board-level troubleshooting, and software systems The Coca-Cola Company will not offer sponsorship for employment status (including, but not limited to, H1-B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
