Manage finance and accounting departments by providing primarily financial information about all company activities to assist management, shareholders, and other users in making informed economic decisions about the company's future.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the corporate accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, annual audits, and budgets. Supervise the disbursement department for accurate processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and payroll tax compliance. Manage the accounts receivable department to ensure proper handling of billing, cash receipts, funding reports, and year-end payroll and tax filings. Ensure corporate income tax compliance and optimize tax benefits through accurate and timely tax return submissions. Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify data integrity and enhance company value. Respond to the CFO's needs with accurate and timely financial information. Participate in special projects and prepare various reports as required. Communicate professionally with colleagues, management, clients, and others. Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
