As we scale, we’re seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented finance leader to join our executive team in a hybrid Controller / CFO role. This position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to influence long-term strategy while managing day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership (CFO-level duties)
Partner with the CEO and executive team on business strategy, capital planning, and lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Manage banking relationships and investor reporting
Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs
Provide leadership on cash flow planning, working capital management, and risk
Oversee legal, tax, audit, and compliance functions
Lead general ledger, monthly close, and preparation of financial statements
Lead and improve financial reporting, AR/AP, and payroll processes
Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies (GAAP compliance)
Oversee system implementations and automation projects (e.g., ERP)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and reporting
Hands‑on experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
Exceptional communication, leadership, and business acumen
Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 annually
