Our client is a $X00M real estate firm that is a public company and seeking a big 4 (or regional public accounting firm) senior to join their team. If you are a senior audit professional that is looking to get out before busy season starts, hit that apply button!
Essential Functions:
Performs financial reporting functions including supporting schedules for the preparation of companies’ audited financial statements and footnotes. Assist with direct preparation of the 10-Q, 10-K and other annual SEC schedules. Prepares monthly and quarterly financial statements and internal reporting workbooks. Provides support and assistance to the external auditors in connection with the audits. Coordinate with accounting and finance personnel for the preparation and tie-out of supporting materials for Board packages and management review. Assist in the design of reports and processes that enhances the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of reports. Preparing presentations and making recommendations to senior and executive management. Provide standard and ad-hoc analyses as needed, including balance sheet reconciliations, revenue analysis, GAAP technical accounting memos, etc. Required Education and Experience:
3+ years of public accounting experience and/or a blend of public accounting and private industry experience. Real estate experience is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study. CPA is required. Experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements. Experience with SOX Section 404 process, including evaluating and testing the design and effectiveness of controls and performing walkthroughs What’s in it for you:
