Responsibilities
Drive large capacity vehicles to transport residents to training centers, medical appointments, home visits, and community outings.
Assist residents in safely entering and exiting the van using Quest‑approved loading and unloading procedures.
Ensure all clients are secured with seatbelts and tie‑downs.
Provide personal care assistance as needed (toileting, bathing, dressing, hygiene).
Implement active treatment, training programs, competency checks, behavior plans/protocols, and service goals for all residents.
Safely lift, transfer, and reposition residents as outlined in daily schedules.
Maintain safety for residents during mealtimes, complete daily housekeeping duties, and ensure adequate supervision, including during inclement weather.
Education / Certification Qualifications
21 years of age or older (required)
High school diploma (required)
Valid FL driver’s license with a clean driving record
Work / Related Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver (required)
Ability to operate large capacity vehicles (10–12 passenger vans and wheelchair buses) (required)
Ability to operate van lift and adapt equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, scooters, walkers)
