Driving Drive large capacity vehicles in order to provide transportation to individuals living in the home to/from training center, medical appointments, home visits and any community outing. Assists every resident to enter and exit the van safely using Quest approved loading and unloading procedures. Ensures all clients are properly secured via seatbelts and tie downs. Personal Care Provide assistance with personal care for all residents as needed including, but not limited to, toileting, bathing, dressing and hygiene needs. Implement active treatment, training programs, competency checks, behavior plans/protocols and service goals including, but not limited to areas of self-help, daily living, social skills, leisure activities and community inclusion for all residents. Safely lift, transfer and reposition all residents as outlined in daily schedules. Ensure safety for residents who eat orally during mealtimes. Complete housekeeping duties on a daily basis Ensure adequate supervision of residents in the home. This may include staying past regularly scheduled hours until staff arrive for the next shift or back-up staffing is arranged. Report to work during inclement weather to ensure adequate supervision and care of all individuals in the home. This may include sheltering in place during a hurricane. Education/Certification Qualifications 21 years of age or older (required) High School Diploma (required) Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record and safe driving skills.
