Overview
Driver - Intermediate Care Facility (Brandon) at Quest, Inc. Responsibilities
Driving large capacity vehicles to provide transportation to individuals living in the home to/from training center, medical appointments, home visits, and community outings. Assist residents to enter and exit the van safely using Quest-approved loading and unloading procedures. Ensure clients are properly secured with seatbelts and tie downs. Personal care assistance as needed, including toileting, bathing, changing, dressing, and hygiene needs. Implement active treatment, training programs, competency checks, behavior plans/protocols, and service goals in areas such as self-help, daily living, social skills, leisure activities, and community inclusion. Safely lift, transfer, and reposition all residents as outlined in daily schedules. Ensure safety for residents who eat orally during mealtimes. Complete housekeeping duties daily. Provide adequate supervision, including staying past scheduled hours when needed or arranging back-up staffing. Report to work during inclement weather to ensure care and supervision; may include sheltering in place during a hurricane. Education/Certification Qualifications
21 years of age or older (required) High School Diploma (required) Valid FL Driver’s License with a clean driving record and safe driving skills Work/Related Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience as a Driver (required) Ability to operate large capacity vehicles (10-12 passenger vans and wheelchair buses – required) Ability to operate van lift and adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, etc.) Benefits and Employment Details
