Overview
We’re looking for an experienced
Controller
to oversee all aspects of financial management for a growing manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, transparency, and integrity across financial reporting, planning, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement — without a heavy focus on cost accounting. Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations and journal entries are completed on schedule. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and external regulations. Partner with operations, supply chain, and senior leadership to provide financial insight and support business initiatives. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors. Supervise and develop a small accounting team, fostering accountability and professional growth. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency. Oversee general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring. Support implementation and optimization of ERP and financial reporting tools. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Seniority level
