We are seeking an experienced
Audit Consultant
with a strong background in
non-profit organizations
to support our financial compliance and audit readiness efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in mission-driven environments and has a deep understanding of non-profit accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead or support audit preparation and coordination with external auditors Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit-specific regulations Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls Advise on best practices in grant compliance, restricted funds, and financial reporting Provide guidance and support to internal finance teams during audit cycles Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in public accounting or consulting with a focus on non-profits Strong knowledge of FASB standards for non-profits and federal grant compliance (e.g., Uniform Guidance) CPA or relevant certification preferred Excellent communication and project management skills Seniority level
