Leeds Professional Resources is looking for a
Multistate Payroll and Tax Analyst
to join our HR/Finance/Payroll team. This on-site role is in Oldsmar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using
UKG (UltiPro/Kronos)
and will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across multiple U.S. states, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Base pay
$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Process and audit multistate payrolls in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements using the
UKG platform . Ensure accurate and timely remittance and reconciliation of payroll taxes (federal, state, and local). Manage employee wage and tax data, including new hire reporting, W-2s, garnishments, and adjustments. Reconcile payroll tax reports and filings, such as 941s, 940s, state unemployment insurance, and state/local income tax. Research and resolve discrepancies related to employee pay, tax withholdings, and reporting. Work with third-party vendors and tax agencies to resolve issues and ensure compliance. Maintain knowledge of changes in tax laws and payroll regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities and audits. Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Finance departments for accurate reporting and integration. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls related to payroll and tax processes. 3+ years
of experience in
multistate payroll and tax administration . UKG (UltiPro/Pro/Kronos) experience is required
– preferably including payroll processing, tax configuration, and reporting features. Strong knowledge of
federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations . Experience with payroll reconciliations, audits, and year-end tax filings Seniority level
