Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will support the monthly and annual financial close process and provide financial reporting support across Rich's domestic and global divisions. This role is responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial reporting schedules, and supporting related accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, experience with multinational operations, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and record month-end journal entries in SAP.
Support month-end and year-end close with reports and analytics.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with financial statement preparation, consolidation, and variance analysis.
Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations.
Participate in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
Proven experience with month-end/year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual/prepayment accounting.
Experience with multinational companies and global operations.
