The Corporate Accounting Department is seeking a Temporary Senior Corporate Accountant who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our team. The purpose of this temporary position is to take over tasks for someone on planned leave and to assist the entire department with a shift to a new ERP system.
The Temporary Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for:
Month End journal entries performed in SAP related to Overhead Accounting, Over/under Absorption, Plant Accounting, Direct Cost Variances
Preparation of Reports and Analytics
Quarterly update of Standard Costs in SAP
Perform specific tasks related to Lease Accounting including reconciliations, review of leases, responding to inquiries, etc.
Complete Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Assist with requests for year-end audit
Opportunity to work on special projects (i.e. transition to new ERP system) as needed

Temporary, 12-month assignment. Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There is flexibility to work 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM if preferred. Work Arrangement:
Hybrid in office Tuesday through Thursday; remote on Monday and Friday. Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Requirements: Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of GAAP & FASB pronouncements Attentive and diligent to details Must be able to work well both autonomously and within a team environment Demonstrate time management and organizational skills Experience with SAP & Oracle/HFM is preferred but not required Masters in Accounting - preferably attained a CPA or working towards obtaining a CPA Would prefer a candidate who has already attained a CPA or is working towards obtaining a CPA Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
