About The Role We are seeking highly organized and customer-focused Resolution Specialists to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with customers on the phone, educating and helping the customer work through their claim to the best possible outcome. This role will also be responsible for handling an inventory of claims, triaging critical claims, and delivering service to all constituents of the claim. The claims you will handle will be transportation-related. The ideal candidate has a willingness to work through and design processes that support the quickest claim resolution with the best outcome. They will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to give feedback and identify technology and process improvements. Resolution Specialists are: Highly motivated and growth-oriented. Excited by building a tech-driven claims organization. Passionate about caring for the customer and their experience. Empathetic, exercising patience and understanding in interactions. Sense of urgency at all times, without working excessive hours. Creative, finding the best resolution paths for claims. What we need Our Resolution Specialists should: Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality customer service via calls, claims filing, and request resolution. Manage an inventory of litigated and non-litigated cases. Analyze and review auto insurance claims, gather information, evaluate liability and damages, and negotiate settlements. Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and procedures. Handle litigation and non-litigation auto claims, communicate with involved parties, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings. Collaborate with defense and claims counsel, maintain positive relationships with vendors. Review legal documents and ensure compliance with legal strategies. Serve as a corporate representative during discovery, depositions, and trials. Analyze policy language, draft coverage correspondence, and manage claims from inception to closure. Manage outside vendors, including defense counsel and adjusters. Maintain necessary licenses and continue education. Requirements Active insurance adjuster's license in your home state. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of transportation claims adjusting experience, including: Third-party PD Third-party bodily injury, including catastrophic losses UM/UIM bodily injury Litigation experience PIP experience is a plus Willingness to obtain all necessary licenses within 60 days.
