Job Description: As a Scrum Master, you will execute Scrum methodologies for product lifecycle for a federal law enforcement customer. You will guide teams in the Agile methodology, support team rules, facilitate product team's progress toward team goals, and promote Agile quality practices. Your role is critical in building high-performing teams and supporting the SAFe across multiple enterprise applications.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile environments
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification
Experience with SAFe Agile framework
Understanding of software development processes
Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with:
Scrum and Agile methodologies
Jira, Confluence, and Kendis
Sprint planning and execution
Agile ceremonies facilitation
Impediment removal techniques
Team coaching and mentoring
Basic conflict resolution
Familiarity with:
DevSecOps practices and tools
GitLab or similar version control systems
CI/CD pipelines
Software development lifecycle
Agile metrics and reporting
Kanban methodologies
Lean principles
Responsibilities:
Execute Scrum methodologies for product lifecycle
Guide teams in the Agile methodology and support team rules
Facilitate product team's progress toward team goals
Lead, facilitate meetings, eliminate blockers, and promote Agile quality practices
Build high-performing teams and coordinate with other teams
Support ROM and level of estimate activities
Provide teams with feedback and means of improvement
Lead regular agile sessions to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation
Facilitate team scrums, sprint planning, and user demonstrations
Advise government personnel on incremental changes for continuous improvement
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
Support coordination between development teams and infrastructure teams
Track and report team metrics and velocity
Identify and help resolve impediments to team progress
