Sentar is seeking a Scrum Master in Chantilly, VA! Role Description As a Scrum Master, you will execute Scrum methodologies for product lifecycle for a federal law enforcement customer.
You will guide teams in the Agile methodology, support team rules, facilitate product team's progress toward team goals, and promote Agile quality practices.
Your role is critical in building high‑performing teams and supporting the SAFe across multiple enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Execute Scrum methodologies for product lifecycle
Guide teams in the Agile methodology and support team rules
Facilitate product team's progress toward team goals
Lead, facilitate meetings, eliminate blockers, and promote Agile quality practices
Build high‑performing teams and coordinate with other teams
Support ROM and level of estimate activities
Provide teams with feedback and means of improvement
Lead regular agile sessions to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation
Facilitate team scrums, sprint planning, and user demonstrations
Advise government personnel on incremental changes for continuous improvement
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
Support coordination between development teams and infrastructure teams
Track and report team metrics and velocity
Identify and help resolve impediments to team progress
Qualifications Clearance Level
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile environments
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification
Experience with Agile methodologies
Understanding of software development processes
Proficiency with
Scrum and Agile methodologies
Jira, Confluence, and Kendis
Sprint planning and execution
Agile ceremonies facilitation
Impediment removal techniques
Team coaching and mentoring
Basic conflict resolution
