Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced technical support in a Windows 10/11 environment, with a strong emphasis on AV setup and troubleshooting. This role involves deskside and remote support, resolving escalated issues, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure seamless technology experiences for end users.
Core Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals in a Windows-based enterprise environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware and software issues, including OS errors, application failures, and connectivity problems.
Set up, configure, and maintain AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and events (e.g., Zoom, Teams, projectors, microphones).
Support Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, updates, and performance optimization.
Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and deactivation in Active Directory.
Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, resolutions, and AV setup guides.
Collaborate with IT infrastructure, networking, and service desk teams to resolve complex issues.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical users.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Tier 2 desktop support experience in a professional environment.
Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and support.
Hands‑on experience with AV technologies, including setup and support for conferencing tools and hardware.
Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to support users at all levels.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Cherwell) and remote support tools.
Pay And Benefits
Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
