Overview
TEKsystems is seeking a Mac/Windows Deskside Support Technician with a minimum of 7 years of experience providing desk side support and troubleshooting of complex end-user issues in a diverse MS Windows environment. The candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience supporting macOS (MacBooks) and will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 deskside end user support including imaging, deployment, asset management, and Windows 10/11. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Escalation point for Junior and Mid-level desk side engineers.
Act independently in a customer environment and engage engineers from multiple teams to troubleshoot issues.
Update status of queued service requests in the IT service management system.
Perform day-to-day Tier 2 and Tier 3 support including end user equipment moves/adds/changes, software installs and upgrades, and general troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Diagnose and troubleshoot Apple (MAC) computer and iOS hardware and software; perform repairs as needed.
Understand MAC OS Imaging process; JAMF experience preferred but not required.
May be assigned to lead small projects and team efforts.
Escalate complex problems to upper-level deskside engineers as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of related IT hardware and software experience.
3+ years macOS experience.
Deployment, troubleshooting, and problem resolution support to end users.
High School Diploma (or equivalent with 6 additional years of related experience).
Tier 2 & Tier 3 deskside level support.
Diagnostic skills and leadership experience.
Strong customer interface skills.
Hardware and software diagnostics; mobile device deployment, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Perform IMAC procedures and lifecycle refresh activities.
Familiarity with Remedy and ServiceNow is a plus; provide updates in ITSM system to document problem resolution and meet SLAs.
Experience supporting Active Directory, MS Office Suite, Bomgar, VPN, SCCM, VTC, Zoom.
Broad base of IT knowledge across computing, networking, integration, and domain administration.
Certifications desirable but not required include A+, Net+, Secure+.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.62 - $38.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
