Overview
Fann Contracting, Inc., a trusted Prescott family-owned business for over 65 years, is seeking a proactive and hands-on
Civil Construction Controller . This key position reports directly to the CFO and oversees the company’s entire accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, payroll, inventory, lien waivers, equipment accounting, and bank reconciliations.
As Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in job cost forecasting and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. You will also lead both internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all necessary federal and state reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full accounting process
Manage and mentor a team of 5 accounting professionals
Lead financial forecasting and reporting efforts
Supervise audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Handle all other accounting tasks as needed
Benefits & Salary Fann Contracting offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid vacation, sick leave, health, vision, dental, and life insurance. Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience, with bonus potential as a % of salary based on company profits.
This is a full-time, exempt position with standard work hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in an office-based environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting
Experience in construction accounting/CCIFP or a CPA/public accounting background is highly preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with multiple departments
