Overview

Strategic Ledger Migration Across Reconciliations SVP is a senior role within Citi’s Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU). The GRU provides a streamlined operating model that supports reconciliations across the Operations balance sheet globally and drives Continuous Improvement in manual touch points, change management of automation, and completeness controls for the balance sheet. Citi is moving to a single Strategic Ledger platform to provide a single source of books and streamlined finance processing and controls. Responsibilities

Lead and perform impact assessment of the Finance’s Strategic Ledger migration on reconciliations and associated Balance Sheet and Control functions (e.g., balance sheet completeness controls and Balance Sheet Exception Reporting). Partner with GRU’s stakeholders across Operations and Finance, among others. Perform data analysis ensuring completeness of the impacted scope. Map end-to-end processes and transaction flows with the migration impact in scope. Ensure Strategic Ledger implementation aligns with the Enterprise Target Operating Model and standards. Collaborate with reconciliation production support to ensure requirements are captured and reconciliations maintain integrity. Prepare and document requirements for the Strategic Ledger Program (SLP) and oversee the associated reconciliation rebuild/update to preserve data points and prevent increases in Manual Touch Points (MTP). Participate in testing, analysis, and migration activities during the implementation stage. Track and report progress with clear metrics and manage escalations and status updates. Identify, profile, and escalate issues; assess and mitigate risks affecting project delivery. Create and manage project milestones aligned to business goals; coordinate cross-functional topics within and across the project. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reconciliations and advise stakeholders; serve as a strategic partner. Drive improvements to reduce Manual Touch Points and maintain a strategic, big-picture view. Collaborate with Technology to submit, test, and release enhancements, applying a deep understanding of reconciliations. Provide detailed issue analyses and coordinate timely resolutions. Offer guidance on reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation processes and influence decisions through advisory support. Avoid data loss and ensure data integrity during migration; ensure risk is appropriately managed and reported. Adhere to Citi’s principles and values and escalate/control issues with transparency. Qualifications

10+ years of experience Strong understanding and hands-on experience in operations reconciliations of balance sheets across multiple asset classes Strong understanding of Balance Sheet/Ledger Substantiation processes upstream and downstream Business/data analysis skills Experience in ledger system migration efforts (highly beneficial) Experience with end-to-end settlement process flows within operations Project management skills; ability to prepare updates and decks Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills High accuracy, strong analytical skills, and timely escalation of issues Experience in Change Management or equivalent functions Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across teams Education
