Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for a
Senior Accountant . This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $70-$85k.
Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Prepare and review financial statements, reconcile ledger accounts, and track departmental budgets.
Act as main point of contact for operational financial questions.
Record daily cash transactions in general ledger.
Attend monthly meetings.
Prepare annual manufacturing returns.
Prepare annual personal property returns.
Prepare year-end tax packets.
Record month-end and adjust journal entries.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong attention to detail
Strong critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
