You are responsible for effectively performing month-end balance sheet reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliations. This position assists in year-end audit requests and compiling of financial packages. Your ability to own your work and drive success will make a direct impact on the communities we serve. Key Responsibilities
Advanced level position with advanced professional knowledge and expertise in the function. Receive work as objectives and strategically determine how to use resources to meet deadlines and goals. Work spans multiple disciplines within the function and is in-depth in scope and complexity. Serve as the main point of contact for operational GMs on financial questions. Provide guidance to entry level staff and understand interdependencies of the role. Record daily cash transactions in the general ledger and perform monthly GL reconciliations. Attend monthly team meetings with entity cross-functional team members. Analyze general ledger accounts and compile monthly financial statements. Prepare annual manufacturing and personal property returns, year-end tax packets, and assist in year-end audit requests. Record month-end adjusting journal entries and perform sales and use tax returns. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Considerable knowledge of real estate and generally accepted accounting principles. Yardi experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). U.S. Work Authorization (mandatory).
