Leasing Consultant The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Property Leasing and Administration
Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease.
Generate leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up necessary to close the sale.
Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
Assist with lease audits, walk‑through units, and turn‑over processes.
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data and respond to leads within 24 hours.
Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve leasing goals.
Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction.
Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs.
Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units.
Assist in implementing annual marketing plan outreach and review market surveys.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition and market conditions.
Model excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness.
Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition.
Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Basic computer skills and ability to perform on‑site software functions.
Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regular movement between work sites, communicate with others, and repeat motions including wrists, hands, and fingers.
Frequently required to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and remain in a stationary position during prolonged standing or sitting.
Occasionally required to move self in different positions, lift, operate machinery, observe, work overtime, weekends, night hours, and work in various environments including hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and enclosed spaces.
Salary Range $15 per hour to $18 per hour
