Full time, 7p-7a About us: UofL Health – Jewish Hospital is an internationally renowned, high-tech tertiary referral center, developing leading-edge advancements in hand and microsurgery, heart and lung care, orthopedics, sports medicine, neuroscience, organ transplantation, and outpatient care. The UofL Health – Trager Transplant Center, part of Jewish Hospital, is nationally recognized for organ transplants, including heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas, and vascularized composite allografts. 7 Towers is a 23-bed advanced medical-surgical intermediate unit caring for high acuity patients from services including medical, surgical, cardiac, neurology, rehabilitation, and observation units. Job Summary: The LPN is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the nursing process. The LPN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and ancillary staff to deliver effective, safe, and quality care. The LPN works alongside RNs and PCAs to provide excellent patient care. Focus Area: Medical/Surgical Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Active Kentucky practical nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky Degree in practical nursing from an accredited college or university Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in the specialty area #LI-DNI
