We are looking for a Controller to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with an opportunity to help build the financialbackbone of our organization.
What You’ll be Doing: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate andtimely transactions. Oversee cash management including reconciliations, daily cash flow monitoring, and reporting. Prepare financial statements and internal reports for leadership to supportdecision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and projections to guide company growth. Work closely with the external CPA firm on tax filings, compliance, and audits. Maintain and improve internal accounting systems, processes, and controls. Support the CEO and leadership team with financial insights and recommendations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable industry regulations.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but notrequired). 5–7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Controller-level orsenior accountant experience. Strong hands-on experience in AP/AR, reconciliations, cash management, andforecasting. Prior experience working with external CPA firms on tax preparation and audits. Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Excel. Experience in fintech, debt settlement, or financial services is a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, scaling company environment. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work directly withexecutive leadership.
