WinnCompanies is looking for an

Assistant Property Manager

to join our team at

Lockwood Plaza , a 209-unit affordable housing community located in

Providence, RI . In this role, you will support the Property Manager in managing all aspects of the community, including leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service. The pay range for this position is $22.98 to $28.86 per hour, dependent on experience. Please note the selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Responsibilities Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required. Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications and negotiating lease renewals. Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations. Assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned. Act as Property Manager in absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time. Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager as well as resident correspondence, and recertification notices. Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in property management or leasing. Less than 1 year of supervisory experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Prior experience with PBS8, LIHTC, and tax credit programs. Experience with various computer systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite, OneSite and Blue Moon. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Superb attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
