WinnCompanies is looking for an
Assistant Property Manager
to join our team at Piedmont, a 250-unit affordable housing community located in Oakland, CA. The position supports the Property Manager in managing all aspects of the community, including leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service. Base pay range is $28.00/hr - $30.00/hr, depending on experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, in office. Responsibilities
Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required. Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications and negotiating lease renewals. Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations. Assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed and assigned. Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Manager for specified periods. Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager as well as resident correspondence and recertification notices. Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices. Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of relevant work in customer service, leasing or property management. Less than 1 year of supervisory experience. Experience with various computer systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Superb attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment. Highly motivated, independent and a self-starter. Willing to learn and grow. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities. Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Familiarity with Real Page OneSite. Affordable housing, tax credit experience (LIHTC). Our Benefits
