Bigos Management, Inc. Summary: Leasing Consultants are responsible for the performance of all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. The incumbent interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. This includes generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in paperwork and procedures. Answer incoming phone inquiries regarding available apartments, provide information, and encourage scheduling property visits. Provide tours of available apartments that meet prospect needs. Explain advantages of renting from Bigos Management and stay informed on regional competition using public information. Follow up with prospects who have not decided to continue selling the property. Qualify prospective renters using company-approved procedures. Move-in new renters, discuss lease and complex rules, and conduct move-in inspections. Move-out inspections for departing renters and follow up on lease renewals. Perform other duties as assigned by Property Manager. Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience required; previous leasing experience preferred. Skills and Abilities: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication; ability to use tact and diplomacy; organizational and time management skills; basic computer literacy (email, web applications). Licenses: Real Estate Licenses must not be active while working in this role. Physical Demands: Mobility to work in a standard office setting; ability to lift/carry up to 10 pounds; vision and hearing/speech for communication; ability to navigate property including stairs, hallways, and common areas.
