Strategic Pricing Analyst
Barranco Enterprises, Inc., Alpharetta, Georgia, United States, 30239
At Barranco, we’re not just another contractor — we’re building the leader in food & beverage equipment installation and maintenance for C-Stores and QSRs. We pair operational precision with industry expertise to deliver projects that scale with purpose. Every role here connects directly to our growth, and every team member has the chance to shape the future.
The Role
The Strategic Pricing Analyst (SPA) is a strategic revenue partner to the Sales team. This role owns the quoting and proposal process, ensuring that Barranco delivers fast, accurate, and competitive bids that close deals.
The SPA will gather inputs from Operations, translate them into clear and executable proposals, and equip Sales with data-driven insights that improve both speed and profitability. Beyond quoting, this role builds models, creates an RFP response library, and ensures Barranco consistently puts forward persuasive, polished proposals that win business.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end quoting and proposal process for installations, rollouts, and preventive maintenance programs. Deliver client-ready proposals that are professional, persuasive, and aligned with Barranco’s strategy. Develop deal-level and program-level P&L models to evaluate revenue, cost, and margin implications. Act as a strategic revenue partner: collect cost inputs from Operations, ensure accuracy, and communicate clearly with Sales to create executable bids. Analyze pricing, win/loss data, and margin performance to recommend adjustments that improve quote-to-close conversion rates. Build and maintain an RFP response library to accelerate future pursuits. Standardize pricing models and proposal templates for repeatable scopes of work. Track and report KPIs including quote turnaround, accuracy, and margin performance; provide insights to leadership. Support RFPs and major client pursuits with tailored, competitive proposals. Requirements
3–5 years of experience in estimating, quoting, pricing, or business analysis in a sales-driven environment. Strong proposal writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and professional client-facing documents. Proven ability to take cost inputs and translate them into P&L models of varying complexity. Proficiency with leading work order management and project coordination platforms; strong CRM experience; advanced Excel skills. Commercial acumen — able to balance client competitiveness with margin protection and revenue growth goals. Familiarity with (or ability to quickly learn) the technical side of foodservice equipment installs and food & beverage maintenance programs for C-Stores and QSRs. Exceptional written and verbal communication; proven ability to influence through data and storytelling. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. How Success Is Measured
Speed: Average quote turnaround time. Impact: Quote-to-close conversion improvement. Accuracy: Variance between quoted and actual delivery costs. Value: Effectiveness and adoption of RFP response library. Results: Contribution to revenue growth and margin health. At Barranco, precision and speed drive growth. As a Strategic Pricing Analyst, you’ll be at the center of it — turning data and cost inputs into proposals that win. If you’re sharp with numbers, strong in communication, and hungry to help a growing company compete and win, this is your opportunity to make an immediate impact. Barranco is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
