We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our esteemed clients in Cumming, GA. This pivotal role is essential for maintaining precise financial records, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, and supporting internal compliance and audit processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial operations of a dynamic organization. Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization. Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts; resolve discrepancies. Prepare and execute payment batches (checks, ACH, wires). Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the accounting system. Maintain vendor master files including W-9s, payment terms, and contact details. Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements. Set up new vendors and assist with credit applications. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary reports and records. Month-End & Reporting

Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations. Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items. Generate reports for management and assist with financial analysis as needed. Process Improvement

Contribute to the transition toward a paperless AP environment. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred). 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of 2-way and 3-way matching processes. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
