Payroll Tax Analyst

Pay:
$80,000 – $84,000 / Annually
Job Description We are seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst to support payroll operations and compliance for our client’s nationwide locations. This position requires strong technical aptitude, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail to ensure proper tax reporting and timely filings. The role offers excellent visibility within the organization and the chance to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll tax filings across federal and state jurisdictions
Reconcile quarterly and annual tax filings, including W-2 preparation and distribution
Provide internal reporting to accounting and leadership teams
Maintain payroll records and assist with document retention and compliance
Serve as a key point of contact for payroll tax inquiries and process improvements
Support system audits and upgrades as needed
Assist with training sessions and occasional travel for team meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
1–3 years of experience in payroll tax processing and reporting
Proficient with SAP SuccessFactors (required)
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a structured workflow
Additional Details
Work Schedule : Hybrid — 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
