Senior Accountant . Salary/Hourly Rate : $75k - $90k plus discretionary bonus Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions while supporting month-end close and audit processes. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, while providing guidance to junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring 4 - 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within financial services, and possess strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies. Support audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing documentation. Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and management reporting. Partner with leadership to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency. Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed. Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant

4 - 7 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant

Experience in financial services, investment management, or related industries. Familiarity with ERP or fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Sage Intacct, NetSuite). Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-team collaboration. Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation or progress toward CPA strongly preferred. Benefits
