Accounting Manager Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing the monthly financial close, preparing accurate financial statements, supporting audits, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a hands-on approach, and a proactive mindset suited to a dynamic startup setting. Key Responsibilities: Lead critical functions of the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages in compliance with U.S. GAAP Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and acting as a liaison with auditors Maintain and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation Partner cross-functionally with other departments to support financial aspects of business initiatives Conduct technical accounting research and support the adoption of new standards Participate in process automation and systems enhancement efforts Manage day-to-day financial operations such as billing, payments, and payroll Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience Background in public accounting/audit (required) CPA license (preferred) Industry experience in SaaS or software (preferred) Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment What’s Offered: Competitive compensation with performance bonus potential Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Generous PTO and flexible work options Supportive, mission-driven company culture If you are a motivated mid-to-senior level accounting professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic organization, we encourage you to apply!
