Across The Pacific Northwest Region supporting DOE EM Hanford which is a Federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. We seek Senior Radiological Control Oversight Specialist/Auditor [DOE0094093] candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience to support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Oversight And General Support Services Under Job Task Category 05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - General Support Services (GSS) For Hanford Field Office (HFO). JOB OVERVIEW: Provide services and support as a Senior Radiological Control Oversight Specialist/Auditor in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management, Hanford Field Office (DOE-EM / HFO) | DOE – Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC), Cincinnati, OH generally located in CONUS - Richland, Washington and across the Pacific Northwest Region. Safety, environment, and quality services ensure compliance, protect workers, and advance Hanford’s cleanup mission success. Responsibilities and duties
Analyze dosimetry, support ALARA planning, conduct radiological assessments, and report compliance findings. Provide services and support for Program Office #05 Assistant Manager for Safety, Environment, & Quality (AMSE/AMSQ) under Job Task #05.05. Conduct assessments and provide training to maintain radiological control and safety standards, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting within Hanford site operations. Maintain high standards of radiological control and safety through comprehensive oversight, training, and reporting within the Hanford site operations. Support tasks across the Hanford Field Office (HFO) in coordination with Electrical, Facility Representation, Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Safety, Training, Environmental/Regulatory, Safety and Security Enforcement, Nuclear Safety, Criticality Safety, Engineering, and other related disciplines. Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer; on-site at Hanford facilities with some remote support as approved. Qualifications
Desired Qualifications : 5–8+ years radiological control/health physics; DOE preferred. Education / Experience : BS Health Physics or equivalent; Rad Worker qualification helpful. 5–8+ years radiological control/health physics; DOE preferred. This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Environmental Management Sector and Senior Radiological Control Oversight Specialist/Auditor candidates principally support Oversight And General Support Services under AMSE/AMSQ.
