Sr. Corporate Accountant

Job Title: Sr. Corporate Accountant Position Overview: This is a great opportunity to play a major role on our accounting team. You will assist in all aspects of accounting, including oversight of general day-to-day accounting functions, technical accounting, preparation of financial statements, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing with a focus on all balance sheet and income statement related activity. You will take ownership of key accounting areas, including Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Accruals, Marketing, Shipping, Intercompany Activity, Budget vs. Actuals Analysis, and Debt Management. In addition, in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring these areas are managed with accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP and company policies. You will be a key business partner and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to drive efficiency and accuracy. While many industry opportunities offer structured, repeatable job functions, this opportunity will allow you to play a key role in continuing to build out the accounting function. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of key accounting areas, including Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Accruals, Marketing, Shipping, Intercompany Activity, Budget vs. Actuals Analysis, and Debt Management. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the general ledger Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, operations, and ecommerce teams to align financial records Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls Prepare documentation and reports for internal review and audit purposes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP and FP&A tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
