Solo Brands is looking for an experienced
Accounts Payable Manager
to lead our AP function and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all payables activity across our DTC and wholesale channels. This role will oversee two onshore Accounts Payable Specialists as well as an offshore AP team based in the Philippines. You’ll be a hands‑on leader who’s comfortable digging into the details, improving processes, and driving efficiency as we scale. What You’ll Do
Oversee the end‑to‑end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and reconciliations. Manage and develop a high‑performing AP team, both onshore and offshore, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to company policies. Review and approve vendor invoices and payment batches to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper GL coding. Partner with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, purchase order issues, and payment delays. Maintain vendor relationships, respond to inquiries, and manage escalations with professionalism and urgency. Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and streamline payment workflows. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. Prepare and analyze AP‑related reports, cash flow forecasts, and month‑end accruals. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate month‑end close and reporting. Support audits by providing documentation and reconciliations as needed. What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong working knowledge of
NetSuite ,
Bill.com , and
Excel . Proven experience managing both onshore and offshore teams. Solid understanding of
wholesale invoice processing , corporate customer billing, and vendor management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate team members. About Us
