Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced
Accounts Payable Manager
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in payables and team leadership. The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the AP team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments across multiple business units. Responsibilities
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, and vendor management Manage, mentor, and develop a team of AP specialists to ensure high performance and accuracy Maintain and improve AP processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and timely payments Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and company approval workflows Partner with accounting, procurement, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows Support month-end close by ensuring all payables are accurately recorded and reconciled Monitor aging reports and resolve outstanding payables or vendor issues Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and supporting schedules Help implement and optimize AP-related systems and automation tools Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 reporting requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Strong understanding of AP best practices, internal controls, and accounting principles Experience with accounting/ERP systems such as Intacct, QuickBooks, or ServiceTitan is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments Experience in a multi-entity or service-based business environment is preferred What We Offer
